

Aimee M. Poland, 32, of Wilton Manors, Fl passed away on May 10th, 2011. Most important to Aimee was taking care of and spending as much time as possible with her immediate family which includes her husband and daughter. She was the best mother. She was an extraordinary professor at Broward College and loved her work. She was proud to teach and encourage her students, friends, and family the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle. She was very energetic and lived a very active life. She was outgoing with lots of personality and loved to laugh and have fun. She enjoyed family time on the beach, bike riding, travelling, and being with her friends. She loved attending concerts especially the Dave Matthews Band. She also spent her time volunteering for several good causes. To cherish her loving memory, she will be missed by her loving husband and daughter, John and Alyssa Poland. She is also survived by her parents, Rosemary and Sam; grandparents, Marylou and Donald Kruise, Elizabeth Shrader; Uncle Bob Kruise; Mother and Father in-law, Janet and Denny Poland; Brother in-law, Scott Poland; Nieces, Courtney, Haley, Mackenzie, Melanie; and one Nephew, Zach and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held Saturday 5/14/2011 from 8:30am – 10am at Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home at 4061 N. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, Fl 33308. This will be followed by a Funeral Mass services at St. John The Baptist Parish at 4595 Bayview Drive, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. At 11am. There will also be a service in Levittown, Pennsylvania on May 19th from 3pm – 6pm with more details to follow. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: The Alyssa M. Poland fund at any Wachovia Bank.
