Andrew "Andy" Eugene Bertnolli

Andrew (Andy) Eugene Bertnolli, passed away, at the age of 85, on August 26, 2025, in the comfort of his home, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Andy was born on October 21, 1939, in Rock Springs, Wyoming. After graduating from Rock Springs High School, he attended Northwestern University, earning a Bachelor of Science in 1961, and then studied at Georgetown University to become a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1965.

While attending dental school, Andy met his wife, Brenda, and they married on June 27, 1964, in Washington, D.C. After graduation, Andy and Brenda relocated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where Andy opened his dental office and practiced for over 56 years eventually retiring in November 2021. Throughout his career, he was active in several dental societies and associations, including the Broward County Dental Association where he served a term as president.

Andy was known by family and friends as an eternal optimist, choosing to live in the present and focus on the positive. He was always a gentleman who was charming, pleasant and generous.

Andy is survived by a loving family: his wife of 61 years, Brenda; son, Andrew (Drew) Bertagnolli; daughter, Andrea Fowler; granddaughter, Phoebe Fowler; grandson, Reed Fowler; and brother, Edward Bertagnolli.

Andy's funeral service will commence on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 1:00 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will take place in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
