

Brian was born in Kingston, Jamaica to Beryl and Leonard Mair. He attended St. George’s College and then went on to become a chartered accountant. Brian quickly rose through the ranks, founding his own accounting firm and becoming one of Jamaica’s prominent businessmen of his time. In the United States, Brian led a successful appliance and refrigeration distributorship.
Brian is preceded in death by his daughter, Victoria Nelson, sister Denise Narcisse-Mair and first wife Cinda Mair. He is survived by his dear wife Pamela Rousseau; sister Marlene Narcisse-Mair; children Sarajane Cazares (David), Gillian Mair (Gregory) and Jeffrey Mair (Leanna) as well as step-daughter Michelle Laytner (Lance) and son in law Brian Nelson (Victoria). Brian also leaves behind grandchildren Simone, Kealey, Mia, Bryan, Arin, Elijah, Jadon, Talya, Naomi, Leah, Gavriel, Eliana and Gilad.
A memorial service and interment will be held in the morning on January 11, 2025. Services will be followed by a repass celebrating Brian’s life and honoring his spirit with joyful remembrance, music and shared stories.

Funeral Mass for Brian Mair will be held at 9:30 a.m. on January 11, 2025. The service will be at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 200 North University Drive, Plantation, FL. 33324. Internment will be at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 S State Rd 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068. Directions to the Celebration of Life Reception after the internment will be provided at the church.
