Camille was my beloved niece and god daughter. I admired her resourceful, loving and determined nature. She was special to our family (the Marshall's). My profound gratitude to her dad Garvin and mum Debra for the support and love over the years and this last difficult stage of her life. Her legacy of unconditional love to family, her dear son Kael and friends will be in our heart always. May her soul rest in peace.

I met Camille in Massage School 20 years ago, we worked together as Massage Therapists,  we were colleagues but also friends.  Camille held a special place in our lives as well as many of her clients. Her memory, healing touch and beautiful energy will live through all of us. Grateful to have known such a special soul. 🕊️

On behalf of the Barnes family (Georgia and Maryland), we are so deeply saddened by your transition on 10/9.

Camille - Although we frequently stayed in touch over the years by phone and text among changing chapters in our respective lives, it’s hard to believe that the last time we saw each other was 2/20/21 in Atlanta (pictured here) as the world started to emerge from Covid. 

In a lot of ways, you were like a little sister that I never had (and a stepdaughter for my parents when you lived with us in MD for a year in high school). You even made the trip with them to visit me in college to check out my apartment. 

I wish you had NEVER experienced any of those hard trials with your health. No one ever deserves it, especially you of all people. You always found a way to make me laugh and look at things in a brighter, positive perspective, even when my Mom passed away in late May of this same year. 

Roland, Amy, Brayden, and Alex will forever love you! Only solace I can grasp at this point is that you are no longer in pain. Knowing how my Mom loved you, I’m sure she was quick to welcome you on your transition to heaven. 

May the angels continue to guide you in peace and forever grace with the spirit of the Lord! Eventually, we will see each other again. 🙏🏽

I had the privilege of meeting Camille as a client at her massage studio in Cooper City several years ago. She was recommended to me by my sister, who told me it was one of the most healing massages she'd ever had. Each time I'd visit Camille for an appointment, I truly felt lighter and healed from within. She had such a gift and passion, and more importantly, was such a sweet soul. She had a wonderful aura about her that you felt from the moment you walked into her studio. I sent friends to her and they said the same thing - "she was lovely." I am so deeply sad to hear about her passing. She spoke beautifully about her husband, son and family the few times I went to see her. She helped me at a time when I was going through severe anxiety and chronic pain, and I'll never forget her kindness. Sending you all my love and prayers for healing. <3

With deepest sympathy, I extend my heartfelt condolences to Debra on the loss of her beloved daughter, Camille. Though I did not have the privilege of knowing Camille personally, I have known Debra for many years and have witnessed her strength, dedication, and grace.
Camille leaves behind a loving husband, Brian, and a cherished son, Kael. My thoughts and prayers are with them and all who loved Camille during this time of unimaginable sorrow.
May Debra and her family find comfort in the love that surrounds them and in the beautiful memories they hold close.

Garvin, Debra, Brian and Kael, I know that it is written that time heals all wounds, but it doesn’t. Know that Camille is out of her pain and suffering, she fought the fight and she won. Humbly she said “ no more.” At 2:58 pm she laid down her weapons took her wings and left. She left cancer behind and entered the Pearly gates of heaven. I pray that you are strong for each other and stronger for Kael. Camille, as you enter the Pearly gates, hug Miya and tell her I love  and miss her. So long Camille, fly high butterfly until we meet again.

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of this beautiful soul, Camille and would like to offer our deepest condolences. Though your hearts ache and the sorrow is deep, please know that your grief means the love was immense.  The journey ahead won’t be easy but hold on to your family, your faith and the love you all share. Keep her memory alive for Kael, celebrate her every moment you get. When the days are hard and the sadness is overwhelming talk to her.  Too often this disease shows up and its damaging effects wreak havoc on loved ones, but remember she is more than that. Celebrate her life, her love, her joy, her passions, her legacy and her gifts.  Please know that she is no longer in pain, we hope you find some peace, comfort, and solace in that.
