

Clive Edmond McLaren was loved and cherished by his wife Georgia McLaren (nee Rankine), family, and friends. Clive went to be with his LORD on December 19, 2024. He is predeceased by his parents Enos and Esmin McLaren, brother, Rudolph McLaren and his first wife Colleen McLaren (nee Ebanks).
To rejoice in his memory, he leaves behind his beloved wife Georgia McLaren, sisters Cynthia Hammond, Phyllis Ellis, Edna (Roscoe) Hargrove, brother Noel McLaren, and children Nathan (Kim) McLaren, Sharon (Paul) Derby, Roger (Rochelle) McLaren, Peter McLaren, Dawnella (Roger) Harrison, and Daniel (Laura) McLaren. Clive has 17 grandchildren, and a large extended family. He leaves behind his dear brothers and sisters in law George (Patricia) Rankine, Randolph Rankine, and Mendel (Pat) Farquharson.
Clive was born on October 14, 1936, in Kingston, Jamaica. He was the first of 6 children and became an Electrician and later, an Electrical Engineer.
Clive attended Philadelphia Gospel Hall, Kingston, Jamaica, where he came to know the LORD.
Clive left Jamaica for England, and Germany, where he married Colleen. He worked as an Electrical Engineer for the Government of Jamaica, Alcan, Procter & Gamble, Lesa Associates, Ford Motor Co., and at Broward County Facilities Management until retirement.
Clive and Georgia enjoyed 29 years of marriage, during which they shared great times which were full of love, and joy.
Clive loved worshipping the LORD, fellowshipping with believers, reading the Bible and theology, listening to music, spending time with Georgia and family members, and harvesting fruit from his trees. He served in several church ministries, in the Christian Businessmen’s Connection, and with The Gideons.
Clive was a man of God who loved the LORD well, loved his neighbors, and was a blessing to many. He will be missed!
A 11 AM visitation, 12 PM funeral service and 1 PM interment will be held on January 4, 2025.
