Elizabeth McAuley Cole

Elizabeth Helen McAuley Cole, age 75 of Live Oak, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale. At the time of her passing she was in the hearts of those she loved the most.

Born in Englewood, New Jersey on September 24, 1943, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Robert and Shirley Eleanor (Woodward) Weiner. At one time she was married to Kenneth James McAuley . She was later joined in a second union of marriage with Arthur Edward Cole, who passed away on December 31, 2016. At one time Elizabeth was employed as a Human Resources Specialist at Jordan Marsh and Jefferson Ward. She retired early in her forties and became a homemaker where her children and her home became the center of her life journey.

Elizabeth is survived by 5 children and their spouses: She held close to her heart the memory of her daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Wayne Hurst, of McAlpin, FL who preceded her, Kenneth and Allison McAuley of Wilton Manors, FL, Lisa and Lyle Donovan of Manchester, CT, Maureen and Steven Bosanac of Deerfield Beach, FL and Jill and Douglas Pecen of Loxahatchee, FL, and 1 stepson and his wife ; Arthur and Sharon Cole of Flemington, NJ; her 18 grandchildren, Jason, Brian, whose memory she cherished, Jennifer, Jonathan, Christopher, Heather, Matthew, Kali, Kyle, Shane, Bryce, Alina, Alisha, Charles, Carlee, Gabriella, David and Adam; her 20 great grandchildren, Samantha, Skyy, Kathrin, Matthew, Melinda, Mackenzie, Aydin, Joseph, Stella, Kale, Atri, Mackenzie, Cadence, Colton, Logan, Devyn, Cooper, Tyler, Abigail and Liam; her sister, Susan (Weiner) Nelsen; her brother, William Weiner, and 2 nieces and 2 nephews, Jeanne, Christi, Charles, Douglas, Shuntel. She was predeceased by her, Brother Robert Weiner.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Elizabeth's Celebration of Life, which will commence on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the McAlpin Advent Christian Church, 172124 County Road 89, McAlpin, Florida.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 4061 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale.
