Conroy, Elsie Stelling age 96 of Fort Lauderdale, FL passed away on April 22nd, 2012. She had resided here for the past 33 years and had previously lived in Woodstock and Garden City, New York. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Fort Lauderdale, and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William King Conroy. She is survived by her nephew, Robert W. Nielsen of Boiceville, New York, and niece, Carol O'Brien of Copiague, New York, as well as nephew, Carl Brucker of Fort Lauderdale.Also surviving are great-nieces and nephews: Carolyn, Colleen, Robert, Erica, and Krista.The family will receive friends from 4-6pm, Wednesday, April 25th at Christ Lutheran Church 1955 E. Oakland Park Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33306. A funeral service will also be conducted at the church following the visitation at 6:00pm with the Reverend Paul J. Schweinler officiating. Interment will take place in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, NY.
