Enrique Alfonso Cam

He attended Leoncio Prado Military School, an institution he cherished deeply. There, as part of Promotion XXI, he formed lifelong friendships and earned the admiration and affection of his fellow cadets. Throughout his life, Enrique remained a man of healthy habits, free of vices, and grounded in discipline and integrity.

Enrique’s life was marked by the family he built across three marriages. From his first marriage came his son Edward, who later blessed Enrique with his first grandchild, Eddie Jr.

From his second marriage came his children Kathia and Christian.

With his beloved wife Charo, his third and current spouse, Enrique welcomed Sharon and Bruce, who in turn gave him four cherished grandchildren: Erik and Ethan from Sharon, and Dylan and Lucia from Bruce.

To his grandchildren, Enrique was not just a grandfather—he was their favorite person in the world. He played with them, doted on them, and spoke lovingly of them to everyone he met. They raced to the door to greet him, found comfort in his arms, and formed a bond with him that will remain forever in their hearts.

Enrique was a devoted husband and a responsible, loving father—steadfast in his convictions, sometimes stubborn, but always guided by loyalty and love. He was also a caring brother who worked to keep his family united. His nephews adored him, remembering him as a central figure of their childhood.

He had a deep passion for cars and aircraft, and he delighted in sharing that passion with his children and grandchildren, a passion that lives on with them now.

Enrique will be deeply missed in this world. We find peace in believing that he is now reunited with his mother, his father, his siblings, his cousins, and the many loved ones who departed before him.

Enrique, we will miss you profoundly. Your legacy lives on in the family you loved so dearly and who will carry your memory with them always.

A visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, located at 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317, on November 9, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

The funeral service will follow at the same venue from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The committal service will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2401 Davie Rd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on the same day.
