George Arnold Raymond, age 77, of Plantation, Florida passed away on Thursday October 19, 2017. George was born December 9, 1939 in Rochester, New Hampshire. George graduated from Spaulding High School and served four years in the U.S. Air Force. George had a career as a mail carrier for the United State Postal Service.
George is survived by his wife, Diane Tardiff Raymond, whom he married on June 28, 1969. He is also survived by his daughter, Amanda Nieves; his grandson, Nicholas Norman Nieves; and his brother, Robert Raymond.
George had a passion for his family, the University of Miami, gardening and the theater.
A visitation for George will be held Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a funeral service starting at 7:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie , Florida 33317.
George will truly be missed.
