Gurine Anselma Anglin (May 26, 1912 – November 23, 2019) Gurine Anselma Anglin (nee Barnett) , "Miss "G", retired teacher, formerly of Lime Hall, St Ann, Jamaica, Jericho, St Catherine , Kingston, Jamaica, Pembroke Pines, Florida, and Okeechobee, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday 23rd November. She was 107 years old.
She is survived by her four children: Winsome, Hugh (Sandy), Lenworth (Marie) and Sonia; Seven grandchildren: Garnet Wayne Sr, Tanya (Brandon), Shelley, Kristin (Stefan), Saran (Dennis), Shari, Michele; and eleven great-grandchildren: Garnet Wayne Jr, Ashley, Winston, Ariel, Zina, Stefan III, Lysadi, Sage, Steele, Joshua and Deborah. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation for Gurine Anglin will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 on Friday December 6th at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South at 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317. Funeral Services for Gurine Anglin will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 7th, at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 7200 Davie Road Ext, Hollywood, Florida 33024. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens South at 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317.
There will be a post ceremony repast at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South immediately after the interment.
