A celebration of Tico’s life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
Tico was born in Matanzas Cuba to Jose and Hazel on June 15, 1952. He married Edda on June 1, 1975 in Manhasset. He graduated from Queens Technical College. He was a self-employed Master Tradesman, skilled in Aeronautics, Drafting, Engineering, Construction and Carpentry. He served in the National Guard during the Vietnam War.
Tico is preceded in death by his beloved son Jonathan.
Tico is survived by Edda, his wife, his children, Kristina, Alex, Eva, and his brother Alexander.

The family of Tico wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Lawrence Reiss for taking him on when no one else would, Dr. Brian Hunis and Dr. Christine Feng for treating him in his cancer journey, and all the doctors and nurses at the Memorial Health Hospitals.
Hector will be dearly missed.
