I learned with great sadness of Helen's passing.

Her intelligent conversation, frank laughter and unparalleled qualities as a generous host had no peer.

We will miss her dearly.

You were both a blessing and a treasure i will always cherish. I have the fondest memories of you, your bright smile and words of encouragement were what kept me going even when i was feeling down.  You were a true LADY!! Words cannot describe what i feel knowing i will never receive a Christmas card from you or talk to you through our emails ever again. You will be missed immensely.

My wife Neema and I used to meet Helen and Gerard at departmental social events such as the graduation dinners of MSMIS cohorts more than a decade ago. Helen was always happy, and her cheerfulness was contagious in a positive way. We all sat together for enjoyable dinners. The sad event of her passing brought back the memories. We will miss her.

A steadfast friend and a ready smile that were enjoyed for so many years.

I will miss her never changing  optimism.

It was a shock to hear of Helenouka's sad passing. I thought that she was well on the mend.
