Ida "Nancy" Sangermano, age 78, of North Fort Myers, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 11, 2024. Nancy was born in Cosenza, Italy on March 12th 1945 to Carmine and Rosa Bruno, and fondly remembered growing up on their farm in the village of Rosa. She will be forever remembered as an incredible hostess, accomplished cook, loving mother, and doting grandmother. Nancy was preceded in death by her brothers Pasquale and Guiseppe Bruno and her granddaughter Bella Grace. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Anthony Sangermano, and her three children, Rosanna, Joseph (and Julianne), and Patrick (and Carissa), and grandchildren Victoria (and Peter) Attia, Anthony, Patrick, Hannah, and Leah Sangermano, and great granddaughter Sophia Attia. A visitation for Nancy will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with a funeral service immediately following from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317. Immediately following the funeral, a committal service will also be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
