We are so sad, and sorry to hear of the passing of Joan.  We were neighbors for a few brief years.  She was just the sweetest, kindest, lovely lady who treated us like family.  Loved chatting with her and walking on the balcony cat walk with her.  Heaven gained a very sweet angel.  Our sincere sympathies

Joan and Bill.  Bill and Joan.  We met them when we first moved to Fort Lauderdale from Virginia in 2011.
  They have always been our Inspiration. Whenever we ran into Bill in the carpark or the foyer and asked about Joan, his response was always: “She is still with me, Thank God” as he raised his hands to the skies.  We cannot comprehend the extent of his loss
This coming Valentine’s Day,, they would have been celebrating their 71st Wedding Anniversary.  A day we share because it is the day Roy and I first met 56 years ago. We are way behind these two!
We met them when we first moved here from Virginia in 2011
We were honored to be among the few who joined to celebrate their 70th last year!
Joan was always so thoughtful, loving, caring, kind.
She never forgot our birthdays at the end of April and July; nor our wedding anniversary in early November. A card was always waiting in our box! And there were also the generous gifts!
We enjoyed spending time with them: having dinner at their favorite spot, the Grille, under the17th Street Bridge; at the church dinners( they danced at the last one we attended: happy memories because in their youth this was a favorite pastime!) it was a joy to see Joan making the effort.
She held on for Bill’s Hundredth birthday last October; the said month she turned 93!
Two peas in a pod they were and will remain forever in heart and soul!
They were very Blessed. 
Just as Bill has comforted so many during times like these, we pray that he will be strengthened and provided as much comfort during this time of so great a loss
May God’s Grace also be with son, Gary, daughter, Joanie, the grand children and every family member.
Praise and Thanks be to God for the Unique Gift of this Precious Soul, Joan.  May she rest in Peace.

Joan and Bill.  Bill and Joan.
We have known these two since we moved here from Virginia in 2011.
They have been our inspiration!
Whenever we ran into Bill in the car park or the foyer and asked about Joan, he would always say: “She’s still with me, Thank God” as he raised his hands to the skies.
We cannot begin to imagine the extent of this loss.
We spent many happy and memorable times together.
Joan was so loving, kind, gentle and generous.

We had the best of times when dining at “The Grill” just over the 17th Street Bridge; at the Church dinners - where, at the last one we attended, they danced (a favorite pastime of theirs). It was a joy to see.
We were honored to join a select group to celebrate their 70th anniversary on Valentine’s Day last year (It is a day we share because Roy and I met on this same day 56 years ago:  way behind these two!)

Just as Bill has consoled so many during times like these, may he receive his share of love, comfort and strength during these trying times
May God Bless him, the children - Gary & Joanie, the grand children and every family member.  Grant them all your Peace and Love
