With sadness and love, we announce the passing of Joan Yao. She went home to be with her Heavenly Father on April 23, 2026 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Joan passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones. She was 96 years old.
A Celebration of Life service, followed by a reception, will be held on Tuesday, July 7 at 11am at New Presbyterian Church, 512 NE 26th St., Wilton Manors, FL 33305, during which we will celebrate the amazing life, love, and legacy of Joan Yao and her joyful homecoming to her loving Lord and Savior Jesus.
