John Clayton Ebanks, 80, of Pembroke Pines, passed away, Thursday, December 23, 2021 at his home in the loving care of his faithful and loving wife. John was born August 23, 1941 to Stephen and Evelyn Ebanks from Treasure Beach, Jamaica, and was the youngest of 18 children.
John established an HVAC business in Kingston, Jamaica before migrating his family to Miami, Florida, where he continued to master his profession as an HVAC Mechanic at the Dade County School Board and led his family through various seasons of life. John had a passion for helping others by using the talents gifted to him by the Lord. His talents were his vehicle of generosity and were greatly utilized to live out the calling God placed on his life.
John was affectionately known to his family as “Lito” and is survived by Margarita, his wife of 55 years, son Mark L. Ebanks (Sheri), daughter, Nancy Bosworth (David), and son John M. Ebanks (Marsha), sister Emittie Powery (Byron), brother Lemuel Ebanks (Sarita), and 12 loving grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone.
