John was born in Shamokin, PA on October 26, 1956 to John Jankowski Sr. and Mary Jankowski. He grew up in Lansdale, PA and attended the prestigious Germantown Academy. He graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1981 with a degree in Spanish Language & International Studies. John relocated to South Florida and earned his J.D. from The University of Miami School of Law in 1989. He practiced law for over 30 years while proudly raising his three children.
John was a devoted father and grandfather. His grandchildren brought him his utmost joy. He had a quick wit, an easy laugh, and lived life to the fullest. He loved traveling, the outdoors, and sports. He instilled his love for life in everyone he met. John’s passion for Costco and inability to ever be on time is the stuff of legend among his family and friends. He was godly man with enduring faith who was active in his church and in sharing his love for the Lord. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on November 21 at Community Christian Church in Tamarac, Florida.
