Jonathan (Jon) Michael Weber passed away Saturday December 19, 2020 after a yearlong battle with cancer. Raised in Framingham, MA, Jon was the loving and beloved son of the late Norman Weber and Elinor (Hermanson) Weber. He leaves behind his wife, Frances and their amazing daughter, Taylor, both of Florida. Jon will be sorely missed by his siblings, Jeff (and Susan) Weber of Shrewsbury, MA, Peter (and Debbie) Weber of North Palm Beach Florida, Stacey (and Jeff) Huse of Centreville, VA, and his nieces and nephews, Sam Weber, Tori Weber, Emily Huse, and Jakob Huse. Additionally, Jon leaves his two stepchildren, Dr. Joseph Pompa of Gainesville, FL and Jenna Moore of Inman, SC. He raised and loved them both as his own and was thrilled to be a grandfather to Jenna’s five beautiful children.
Born July 30, 1959, Jon’s arrival came during his cousin Stephen Miller’s fourth birthday party. Sharing a birthday, the two had a special connection and a deep friendship that remained throughout Jon’s life. Stephen and his siblings, Caryl (Miller) Shaw, and Phil Miller, will miss Jon more as a brother, than as a cousin. In addition to his immediate family and cousins, Jon leaves behind some great friends, including his oldest friend, John Dahlroth of Upton, MA.
A 1977 graduate of Framingham South High School, Jon moved to Florida in 1984. He began a 30 plus year career in the commercial printing business and spent many years managing the operations at Jet Printing in Hollywood, FL. Jon was a Massachusetts native at heart, and despite his years away, he was a true Boston sports fan and never gave up on his teams. Thank goodness he was able to experience the Red Sox excitement of 2004 and the Patriots finally owning the Dolphins during their NFL dominance.
Jon had an infectious, incredibly dry, and often self-deprecating sense of humor. He was a natural introvert, so these comedic insights to the workings of his mind were a gift to all those privileged enough to witness them. Once laughing with Jon, stopping took time, and your sides ached for hours.
But of all the friends and family that Jon so deeply loved and missed, the childhood memories, and everything else he enjoyed, there was one love, one legacy that made his entire life worthwhile, his daughter, Taylor. All Jon ever wanted, was to be a Dad, and he was blessed with a beautiful daughter that loved him as much as he loved her.
We will mourn and miss his kind, funny, hard-working, creative soul, but are absolutely blessed with memories of his time here with us.
