Judith Oliveras Nocerino was born on July 3, 1952, in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, to Dolores and Pedro Oliveras. She spent her early years between the Bronx, New York, and Long Beach, California, embracing both her Puerto Rican roots and the vibrancy of city life.
Judy graduated from Grace H. Dodge Vocational High School in 1971 and continued her education at the Travel & Trade Career Institute. Her passion for travel and helping others led to a long and distinguished career in the airline and cruise industries, serving as an Administrative Finance Representative for Mexicana Airlines and MSC Cruises for over 30 years.
On August 14, 1976, Judy married the love of her life, Joseph Paul Nocerino, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Together, they built a home centered on faith, family, and unwavering love. Their marriage was a partnership of 38 years, filled with devotion, shared adventures, and countless memories.
Family was at the heart of everything Judy did. She was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend whose warmth, laughter, and generosity touched everyone she met. Her home was a gathering place, her door always open, and her arms always welcoming.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Dolores and Pedro Oliveras, and her husband, Joseph Paul Nocerino. She is survived by her loving sister, Myrna M. Oliveras Vazquez; her brother, Pedro A.
