Kenneth Patino

Kenneth Patino passed away August 14, 2024. Kenny, as he was affectionately known, was born on February 4th, 1969 in Elmhurst, NY. He was the baby of 4 children and first American-born child to the newly immigrated parents from Cuba, Nelson and Nirma Patino. Kenny was a son, brother, uncle, cousin, business owner and friend to many. He will be dearly missed! Kenny is survived by his mother, Nirma Patino, ex-wife Tracy Lynn Patino, and siblings Nirma Raffi (Curt), Nelson M. Patino, Maria Strand (Kenny S.) and many nieces and nephews whom he adored and spoiled. He was predeceased by his father, Nelson F. Patino.

Kenny was a generous person, full of love for family and friends. He never hesitated to help any person in need. He was the life of the party, loved being around friends and keeping his family close. He loved animals, especially cats. He helped trap, neuter and release many feral cats while helping feed the colonies. Kenny ran a successful business and traveled to many countries with his wife, Tracy. He loved adventure, experiencing new places and new foods, and seeking out amazing restaurants near and far. His favorite place to go was Cuba to visit family. His heart always took him there to help in any way he could, bringing supplies and resources.

His passing has left a deep hole in many hearts as the family has received an outpouring of love from many that knew him.

Kenny, we are heartbroken and deeply miss you. We will wait to see you again. Until then, we hope that there is skydiving and river rafting in heaven.

A gathering of family and friends for Kenneth will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 2401 Davie Road, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33317, followed by a celebration of life from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
