“Marje” as she was affectionately known, was born to the late Marjorie (Reichmuth) and late Paul Baglio, October 26, 1945, in Miami Beach, FL. She was a native of Florida, graduated from North Miami Senior High in 1963 and received her Associates Degree from Broward Community College in 1992. She briefly had a profession in court reporting, and was also artistically inclined. Her natural talent and ability for drawing was exceptional, and in her youth she dreamed of sketching fashion designs.
Her marriage to Edward Jeffers in 1964 lasted for over 40 years, and produced 3 beautiful children, James, John, and Marjorie. She was a loving homemaker who dedicated her life to raising her three children. Her passions were being in nature and the great outdoors. She enjoyed boating, diving, trail-riding, motorcycling, and gardening. She loved spending time with family and friends, and always made room in her life for them, just as she always made room for dessert too. Marjorie loved to travel and explore new places with family and friends, and did so as often as she could. She always made sure to live life to the fullest and keep a positive outlook.
She was an active member in the Pembroke Pines Women’s Club for many years, where she made lifelong cherished friends. She was also active in the Audubon Society and enjoyed spending time in Everglades City. She relocated to Ocala a few years ago, where she became a member of the motorcycle club, the gardening club, and enjoyed listening to live music with friends. She was always lending a helping hand to family and friends and was known to be thoughtful, gentle and kind to all she met.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons and daughter, James Jeffers of Fort Lauderdale, FL; John and Blayn Jeffers (wife) of Davie, FL; Kevin (husband) and Marjorie (Jeffers) McAllister of Davie, FL. She is furthered survived by her seven adoring grandchildren Chelsea Jeffers, Shannon Jeffers, Ashton Jeffers, Skylar Jeffers, Grant Jeffers, Kenzie McAllister, and Finnley McAllister. She is also remembered by her two sisters, Jeannette Mansfield and Theresa Middleton, and one brother, Paul Baglio, along with her loving companion Robert Gaudy.
Celebration of Life will be held at Forest Lawn in Davie, Wednesday June 26th at 4:30pm-8pm followed by her Burial at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic cemetery, Thursday June 27th at 9:30am.
