Marvin, or Marv as he was affectionately called by many friends and family, passed away on December 27, 2014 at the age of 85.
Marv was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 6, 1929 to Hyman and Rose Kupperman. Marv had two sisters who had predeceased him, Marilyn (Falk) and Joyce (Buttiglieri).
In 1958, Marv married his lifelong love, Naomi Braverman, in New York and honeymooned at the famous Castaways Resort in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Together they took up residence in Miami where they raised their three children and a granddaughter.
Marv was admired for his humor and easy going calm demeanor. He always had a selfless devotion to his family and friends.
We will always remember Marv for his lasting strength and humility. We are grateful for the examples he demonstrated for us through the years and during his most difficult times.
Marv is survived by; his wife Naomi; his son Scott; daughters Traci Cravens (husband Les) and Robin Kupperman; grandchildren Ashley Grave de Peralta (husband Carlos), Chelsie Cravens, Jaymie Cravens, Jake Cravens, Karyna Armstrong, and Nicholas Wallace; and his great grandchildren Sophia and Naomi.
