MaryLou Adams, 87, of Pompano Beach, FL became our Guardian Angel on July 1, 2021. Daughter of the late John Rankine and Ida Laue (Rankine) of Youngstown Ohio. MaryLou leaves behind her husband Jack of 66 years, their children Jeff (Sue), Jennifer (Ward), Bob and Amy (Mike) and their grandchildren AJ, Cassie, Megan, Kay, Mallory, Griffin, Bailey, Kate, and Emily, as well as, nieces, nephews and countless friends in Youngstown, Fort Lauderdale, Vero Beach and Pompano Beach.
A graduate of Boardman High School and Ohio State University, MaryLou and Jack followed her brother Harry to Florida in 1956 where she practiced Dental Hygiene for over 40 years in the Fort Lauderdale area. As Past President of the Florida Dental Hygiene Association she took an active role in her profession. MaryLou was active in the Panhellenic Association as a Tri Delta sister and remained close to her lifetime friends within the sorority. MaryLou lived life to the fullest, always on the go, whether it was bridge with friends, lunch with the girls, shopping or traveling the world with Jack. A doting grandmother, she was a dynamic character in each of their lives.
While she will be missed terribly by all of us that she leaves behind we are grateful to know that she has been reunited with her parents and much-loved siblings Harry and TJ, lifelong friends Ellen, Helen, Ruth and HoneyLou. We are so thankful that we were blessed to have you as our mom and nana. Forever in our hearts, we will miss your easy smile, hearty laugh, and scrabble skills
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at https://WWW.BROWARDBURIAL.COM for the ADAMS family.
