Mrs. Mellies was always sweet & loved her boys.  So sad to hear of her passing. May the memories of her warm your heart.

Oh, how sad. Myrline was such a sweet lady and a real helper at Tropical Elementary School. Always a smile on her face.

I was so sorry to hear of Myrline's passing. I went to high school with Myrline. She was a kind, fun, happy girl and her photos of late showed her to be the same. Always friendly, always a smile. Thank you for letting her Facebook friends know. Too soon to go.

Myrline was a very special person in our lives!  She always had a sweet smile on her face and always made my kids smile!  She will be missed so much!  Rest in peace dear Myrline!

Myrline was one of the sweetest, most caring persons I have ever known.  May God bless the entire Mellies family at this most difficult time.  Our prayers and love go out to you all.

Memories of long ago, especially Christmases, vacations and holidays will remain with me forever, Cuz! We weren't that close as we grew older, but I always sent Christmas cards. I wish I got to know your boys and their families, but distance divides us all. I know you're once again with those we both loved, so, say 'hi' to everyone for me, even grumpy Uncle Bud!.

Family was everything to your Mom and she was so proud of all of you. I will miss her smiling face and our special talks at Publix catching up on all of the Kids. She will truly be missed. Prayers to you all. June Miller

We have lost a true 'Lady' and a genuinely caring person.  Myrline will be greatly missed, but she  has left all who knew her with a warm feeling when we recall her smile and that lovely hug.

All those days we sat side by side in the heart of the building, over 4 school years, then vacation time and your retirement, 7 real years, putting the world to rights, laughing, crying, joking, and in quiet albeit giggling and smiling seriousness, being there for each other, and for those that asked us both for our wisdom while we stared blankly and confused at each other....., were some of the most important days in my life, my kids lives, my family as a whole.

Unconditional love and caring is what you gave to all of us. I am honored that you called me one of your adopted.... We love you forever.

Mike, Jeff, Dan and family..... your mom, grandma, is one of the most amazing people I have ever known, she is so proud of each and every one of you. Remember her for wanting the best for you and your true happiness.
