

Ramona Anderson was born on September 20, 1956, in Brooklyn, NY to Lawrence Anderson and Melrose Williams. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, Aunt and friend. Ramona tried her hand at various fields of study, such as medicine and working for the Internal Revenue Service where she met her beloved husband Howard Lewis.
Ultimately, deciding to pursue law, Howard supported her as she studied at Georgia State University and Nova Southeastern Law School. After passing the Florida State Bar, Ramona became a Public Defender. She then started
a practice of her own opening Law Offices of Ramona Anderson. Upon closing her practice in 2009, as a lifelong follower of Christ, Ramona decided to advance her biblical studies at Knox Theological Seminary and Trinity College of the Bible.
Ramona balanced her career and education with family life. Caring for her children, grandchildren, parents and anyone in need. Ramona was also very devoted to her four brothers and two sisters. She was known for her kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering dedication to family. Ramona had an extraordinary ability to bring joy and comfort to those around her, always offering a listening ear and a warm smile, without judgement. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves behind her husband, Howard Lewis; her children, Jamel, Tyiesha, Tiffanie, Angela and Blair. Along with her bonus children Rachel, Scott and Jessica Lewis and her grandchildren Leah, Jordyn, Aniyjah, Elijah, Amariah, Aayden, Alex and Aubriella. As well as Hunter, Rebecca, Noah and Navah.and those related to her in love.
Ramona Anderson's legacy of love, compassion, devotion to family and her love for God will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
