Behrendt, Rees A., 85, of Fort Lauderdale, FL passed away on September 26, 2011. He was a graduate of Colorado University at the age of 19, moved to San Francisco and appeared with a Theater Group. He then moved to New York and began writing Radio Segments, one being for those of an age: "GRAND CENTRAL STATION". His most rewarding career experience was writing for Esquire Magazine. Rees retired as a Vice President from N.W. Ayer. Later in life, with the birth of the Internet, he found great pleasure in designing Greeting Cards. Friends found great joy in his humor. He is survived by his beloved partner of 48 years, Charles "Chuck" Woodhull. He is also survived by his sister, June (Earl) Padgett, niece Susan (Mike) Sadler, nephew Sherman (Mia) Padgett, and six grand nieces and nephews.
