

Robert was born in Providence, RI to Arthur & Maria Silva on April 18, 1939. He went to school at Providence. He married his lovely wife, Brenda on September 27, 1980 in Sunrise. FL. He was trained as a sheet metal mechanic in the US Air Force repairing aircraft and after leaving the Military, he started his sheet metal career with Sam Hamilton Co. in Miami, Fl. Later he started his own business BSA Sheet Metal, Inc. He worked for 29 years to build up his company and then retired in 1999 and sold his very successful company but stayed active in the industry. He was a veteran and served our country in the Air Force. He was involved in Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, Miami Springs Power Boat Club of Stiltsville and served as the Rear Commodore for numerous years. Later along with Brenda, took over as the Scuttlebutt Editors of our monthly newsletter for a few years, Bob joined the Der Krieger MC Club and he was named GODFATHER by the daughter of Gunslinger, an original 6 member, and it stuck. He was the ROAD GUARD & Comptroller for 25 years. He was the sponsor as Godfather of the Forever Sister, Sisters Forever He also did Competition family boat races in Miami Marine Stadium and he won his fair share of races, Dirt Biking & ATC at Croome, Fl. He was an avid fan of NASCAR and Grand Prix races. He was awarded a plaque from his company employees in 1999 to honor his Retirement. The Plaque is titled “THE CAPTAIN”
Robert is preceded in death by younger brother, Eddie and older brother, George.
Robert is survived by His Wife, Brenda: His 2 Children from a previous marriage, Tracy and Christopher.
Funeral services will be held 9:00AM, 11th of November 2023 at Forest Lawn South with the Father Paul Pierce of Bonaventure Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery 11411 NW 25th Street Doral, FL. 33172. Then everyone is invited to the families home afterwards.
