Bobby was my mom's (Helene Vasile Morano) first cousin. It's been a long time since he visited her and my grandmother  in NY or since we've seen them all in Florida. But when he did it was always a good time. I fondly remember him, his brother Tony, sisters Cathy and Marie and of course, Aunt Lucy and Jim.

Marina I have tears in my eyes right now. Life isn't the same with your Dad not here. We think of him every day. Certain songs we hear reminds us of him. Every time we pass the Pyramid on 595 we wave and say hi and miss you. We have a lot of people die in our lives but Bobby was so special to us. Your family is like a real family to us. Doesn't matter if we see each other all the time, we know we're there for each other if need be. Vinnie and I are so thankful all those years ago at the Manhatten Karaoke show meeting your Mom and Dad and from that day forward we bonded. Thank you Jesus for bringing us together. Barbara Grippo-Dinitto I wanted to write on here sooner but the words were so hard to come by for me. On Dec 14, 2018 we lost our dear friend Bobby V. We met Bobby and Maria at a place called Manhatten's in Cooper City. They were doing karaoke. We sat down and Bobby came up to us at our table and asked me if I was going to sing. I replied that I'm a professional and need to get paid. He laughed but said okay. From that night on we were considered friends and as time went by we became cousins because my husbands name is Vinnie and Bobby looked so much like Joe Pesce. Where ever Bobby and Maria had a gig we were there. I guess you could call us "groupies". There is just so many memories and things that have happened with us over the years that I could be here writing forever. I had always joked that I should write a book of our karaoke times together and I did write that book. I am so happy I did because there are pictures and sayings and people who loved those two and followed them wherever they played. We've spent over the years Christmases, Weddings, BIrths, Birthdays, Graduations and yes Death too. Happy times and sad times. This is one of those sad times that's going to take a long time to overcome for Vinnie and me. Thank goodness we have Maria and her family so we talk about our memories and good times. It has been 25 years of a friendship (family) that we will cherish forever.GOD BLESS YOU BOBBY we love you. Barbara and Vinnie

We learn in Alma 40 about the spirit world and in verse 12 we are taught "..the spirits of those who are righteous are received into a state of happiness, which is called paradise, a state of rest, a state of peace, where they shall rest from all their troubles and from all care, and sorrow."
I know your Fathers desire for you is to be happy and find peace in this life. I have had special experiences in the Temple and I feel the Temple being so close is a very great blessing for your family. I invite you to ponder the things the Lord would have you do to take part in the many blessings of the restored gospel. I feel this will bring much peace and comfort!

There were gaps in time when we all were all going on with our lives.
You both were always there, in good times and painful times.
Bobby was especially a large on influence on who our Amber is today.
I know I have told the story many times,
The first time she introduced Bobby to her Daddy,in her tiny, 4 year old voice , Said” Daddy, I want you to meet my boyfriend,Bobby,”
The look on Bobby’s face was priceless.He wasn’t sure how “Daddy,was going to react.
There are so many memories.Amber gained confidence,trust, and most of all unconditional love from Bobby,and you.
Words we are so sorry,not to have said to him.

I am forever grateful for Marina.
After a long gap in our relationship with you and Bobby,Rina arranged a “reunion”
I believe that was the last time, my Jim was able to dance,
Bobby sang our song.I cherish that memory .
Meeting for dinner,you both seeing Amber,meeting her husband and her babies,she is thankful for every moment .

Maria, we all love you and love Bobby.He will forever be in our hearts and our memories.
So sorry we can’t be with you ,for his funeral.

Had a vivid dream last night with Bobby and Murray Rose trying to get a Karaoke show up and running. (just not sure if it was a karaoke show "up there" or "down here"). They were both young and strong just like I remember them back in the day and the best part was they were laughing and smiling and having a great time together. Made me smile.  :-)

There are no words to express the pain of losing Bobby.  We loved him and will always remember the wonderful years we spent with him Maria and the kids. We are family and it will stay that way always.  Love you Bobby and now you can RIP.

Bobby was the most giving, caring, genuine person I ever met. Like everyone he came in contact with I always felt his inner light. I was blessed to know him and call him friend. Heaven has just been made truly a better place. Watch over us from there. You are sorely missed here.

Maria ~ Thank you for reaching out to me personally to let me know about Bobby's passing. My heart is heavy with sadness that he is no longer physically here with us, but we know that his spirit IS with us and we will keep that spirit alive by speaking his name and sharing our memories of him. I have such fond memories through the years with both of you and Jackie,Gina, and Rina, some of my favorites are babysitting the girls when they were little, SO MANY fun Karaoke shows (including working with you guys at Mama Mia's restaurant on one New Years Eve), Bobby's beautiful singing voice and effortless dancing, and the most significant - both of you being at our wedding, with you as Matron of Honor and Bobby filling in for my Dad during the Daddy/Daughter dance at the reception. Perhaps Bobby Vee and my Dad are shaking hands right now. Our family's hearts are with you and yours along with prayerful thoughts for peace and comfort.

We are so honored to have had Bobby Vee preside over us on our wedding day in 2005. We will love and miss you so much! In our hearts and in our happy memories forever <3 Rest in Peace 🙏🏻

There's so much I could say to you, and so many great, and awesome memories and stories I could share. You've taught our family and friends so many important lessons through direct counsel and by example. You've given us, and everyone you've met endless love, support and many, many laughs and smiles. You've been our family's patriarch and rock. Through thick and thin, you've always been there for us, and words can't describe how much you'll truly be missed. I already miss everything, the daily calls to check in on me, or random calls about what you've seen on Dr. Oz (LOL), our many, many exciting Karaoke nights and Karaoke Hopping in the Villages and SFL, your counsel, your strength, your love and charity for all. I'll always cherish the precious memories of your piggy back rides, riding with you to work in your dump truck, or riding in the bucket of your backhoe or loader which we all thought was the coolest ride ever!! The motorcycle rides, the birthday parties, and especially Christmas's with you stomping on the roof, jingling bells as if you were Santa (lol, you really did go all out for us).. Our early morning drives and talks to seminary, school, and church, and our breakfast dates, the list goes on... I'm so grateful and blessed to be your daughter and call you Daddy. You've always said there's a difference between a dad and a father, and you were that difference. And though it breaks my heart so very much to lose you, and more so to know our daughter Kira won't get to experience any of these special moments with you, I know you're at peace, having a joyous reunion in heaven and smiling down on us all.. Mom said it best when she said "to know you, is to love you, and an honor." You will forever be in my heart and thoughts. Until we meet again.❤🙏
