Robin was an extra in several locally produced movies including The Last Thing He Wanted, and Pain & Gain. Among her television appearances were Magic City, Bloodline and Ballers.

She attended St. Joan of Arc Elementary School and graduated from Grosse Pointe North High School. Considering a career in the arts, she attended the Society of Arts & Crafts in Detroit, briefly.
On October 20,1978, Robin married William M. Roberts in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in St. Clair Shores ,Michigan.
