Mama Rowena, I've only met you a few short months ago, through your daughter Alison, but it seems like a lifetime! I will always remember you. Heaven has gained an Angel!

For a number of years, Rowena attended the same church as my husband, Steve and I. There, she often expressed her love for the Lord in worship and dance which edified us and many others.  She was also a true prayer warrior and faithfully prayed for us and our mission, The Bridge International!  We came to know her personally as well, not only as a fellow sister in the Lord, but as a woman of integrity with a servant's heart. 

In 2001, for two years, Rowena faithfully came to our home three times a week and helped my mother-in-law, Evelyn, exercise and move about after she had suffered a stroke and ended up in a wheelchair. When they were together, Rowena would sing and read about heaven to Evelyn, which helped my mother-in-law open her heart to receiving Jesus Christ before she died in 2003.  The two women enjoyed each other so and became close friends, and Steve and I also enjoyed her friendship, also in the years after Evelyn's death.  

We have lost an intercessor and friend - heaven has gained a faithful servant!  Our condolences to Allison and the rest of the family!

What a dear friend and prayer warrior.  We shall miss you but know that we will see you again in Heaven! Rowena was a special part of our family and we loved her dearly.
