

Sheila Jeanette Turner was born on February 19, 1954 in Charlestown, Indiana. Sheila relocated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1981 where she met her husband Patrick Knowles, a Yacht Designer in Fort Lauderdale in August, 1985 at which time they fell madly in love….they remained married for 26 enchanting years. Sheila practiced her fine art of Commercial Make-up Artistry, in which she worked in the film industry for 37 years with fashion magazines, catalogs and some of Hollywood’s shining stars along the way. Sheila and Patrick had separate and successful careers until they decided to create a venue in which they could work together. In 2002, they co-founded Turner Bay, a charming home store on US-1 in Fort Lauderdale, in which the couple traveled extensively to collect merchandise for the store, as well as memories that would last a lifetime.
Sheila is survived by her husband, Patrick Knowles, her mother, Dorothy Turner; 1 son Jason Ingram, 2 sisters, Judy Turner and Connie Standifer; 1 brother, Larry Turner; 2 nephews, Todd Standifer and Travis Bussey, 2 nieces, Tammy Standifer and Rebecca Bussy-Lewellen; as well as a very large host of relatives from Patrick’s family, friends and fellow Christians from her Oakland Park Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
