September 24, 1990 to January 25, 2025
Taylor George Geyer, also known as Tay, Teeelor, T-man, TG or George Taylor Geyer, made his final wildly hilarious, always timely, brilliantly clever and probably inappropriate one-liner on Saturday, January 25, 2025.
Taylor was born and immediately dubbed ‘world’s best and most handsome son’ to Jeff and Betsy Geyer on September 24, 1990. He lived life with tremendous passion, humor, care and a selfless desire to uplift all those he befriended. There was no such thing as a stranger in his eyes and heart. He lived a thousand lives in his 34 years and brought a lifetime worth of laughter to all he knew.
Taylor is survived by his mother Betsy Geyer, and sisters Ashley Geyer Feaster (Jeff) and Morgan Geyer who love him categorically - jokes, pranks, wet willies, swirlies, and all.
In addition to his mother and sisters, Taylor leaves behind a host of relatives to cherish his memory and Taylor-isms. Nephew, Mason Feaster; niece, Addison Feaster; uncles, Leonard Siggins, Michael Siggins (Kaurice), George Siggins (Dianne), Stephen Geyer. He also leaves behind the love of his life, Sarah Portuondo and their beloved dog, Bowie, as well as his best friend since the first grade, Jamison Miller -- his rock, keeper of all secrets, and sidekick to most shenanigans.
Taylor is preceded in death by his beloved father, Jeff Geyer; grandparents, George and Jean Siggins, and George and Jean Geyer; uncles, Bobby Siggins and Bruce Geyer; and aunt, Peggy Siggins.
Taylor had no sense of direction, and in hindsight the hours so many of us spent lost with him were never really lost, but rather great adventures and memories in the making. He lived fast, loved hard, and always had your back. His passing will leave an immense void in the lives of many, particularly his little sister, who will miss looking to him for giggles when mom says something completely silly. Her comfort will be to look up and laugh to the sky, knowing her big brother will always be there looking over her.
Celebrations of his life, in true Taylor George or George Taylor style have been planned in both Florida and Texas. The first will take place Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 1:00 PM at 712, SE 11th Court, Fort Lauderdale, FL. A second will take place Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Kings Creek Country Club, 6025 Club Drive, Kemp, Texas.
Instead of flowers, Taylor would want you to do an unexpected act of kindness for someone who just needs to get by with a little help from a friend.
“It ain’t much, but it’s honest work.” -Taylor Geyer
