March 15th 1950 – October 28th 2025
Tommy lived a life that can’t be summed up into words — but if you had the privilege of knowing him, you knew it was one worth every story, every laugh, and every tear. A proud United States Marine and decorated Vietnam veteran, Corporal Millette earned two Purple Hearts for his bravery and sacrifice. He carried that same strength and determination throughout his life — a man who faced every challenge head-on and never lost his sense of humor or his spark.
To know Tommy was to know a man of contrasts: strong yet tender, stubborn yet endlessly giving. He believed in doing things his way — and his way was often the right way, even if it took the long road to get there. He loved a good joke, a better card game, and a perfect dirty martini. Those close to him knew that under his sharp wit was a heart that felt deeply, even if he didn’t always show it.
Tommy was the devoted father of Joanna, who inherited his courage and quiet strength. Their bond was built on laughter, honesty, and love that didn’t need perfect words to be understood He is also survived by his other daughter Monica Millette. He also leaves behind his grandchildren — Gilbert E. Millette, Devin Thomas, and Dillion Thomas; great-grandchildren Le Lancia J. Millette, Gianna M. Millette, Dakoda G. Thomas and Da Vinci M. Thomas
Tommy shared many meaningful years with his former life partner and dear friend, Patricia Lynne Gjesdahl, whose loyalty and companionship remained steady through every twist and turn of life.
He is survived by his sister Rose Spagnoletti, and remembered by his other siblings John “Butchie” Millette, and Regina “Reggie” Millette — who knew him from his earliest days, shared his roots, and loved him through every chapter of life.
Tommy was a man of contradictions and conviction — tough as nails, yet tender in ways only those closest to him ever saw. He could be stubborn, sure, but his loyalty ran deep. He loved hard, laughed loud, and lived on his own terms. To know him was to understand that love doesn’t have to be perfect to be real — it just has to last.
He leaves behind more than memories — he leaves behind lessons, laughter, and a legacy that will never fade.
