Amanda Madrigal Richmond

Amanda Madrigal Richmond, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, March 25. She was surrounded by her family in her final moments. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie, sons Matthew (Kim) and Darren, sister Maria and brother Felix Madrigal, and grandchildren Roy, Oren and Ana. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, mother Helen and sister Juanita.

Amanda was a devoted mother and grandmother, and actively participated in her children’s school activities and local youth sports clubs. She loved to read and enjoyed puzzles and games, and was an avid Florida Gators fan. She was an employee of the state, most recently for the Lee County Health Department, for more than 40 years.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 11 beginning at 10 a.m. at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org.
