

Anthony James Leopardi (Anthony James Leeber), born on May 19,1948 in Brooklyn NY, passed away August 14, 2024 at the age of 76. Tony grew up in NY where he met and married Gina Leeber who became his beloved wife of 55 years. They moved full time to Southwest Florida in 1992. He was a cherished father, grandfather, great grandfather, and hero to many.
Tony was founder of Cornerstone Builders of SWFL and spent his life seeking to share his love of his Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Tony gave generously and loved fiercely. Whether he was wowing customers with incredible kitchens, building children’s homes in South America and Africa, or assisting families recovering from drug and alcohol abuse, his great desire in life was for others to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was, is, and always will be his Cornerstone.
Tony leaves a legacy behind in his children Maria Dow (Richard Dow), (Diane Leeber—daughter in law), Gina Dorman (Ricky Dorman), Annmarie Tully (Kevin Tully), Christina Cooke (David Cooke), and Nicole Cook (Ron Cook), 19 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, his brother Fred Leeber, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Tony was preceded in death by his wife Gina Leeber, son Anthony Leeber Jr., grandson Tyler Tully, great-grandson Gabriel Silva, father Fred Leeber, mother Domenica Kraft, brother James Leeber, and sister, Kathleen Gianfrisco.
