Barbara Lorraine Ford

Barbara was born June 11, 1937 in Orange, New Jersey. She cherished her Episcopal Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Ford and her parents, B. Franklin Todd and Hortense Todd.

She was a graduate of Clifford J. Scott High School in East Orange, NJ and received an Associates Degree in Medical Technology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She spent her career assisting doctors in New Jersey and Fort Myers where she was employed by Lee Memorial Health System.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna-Jo (Mrs. Robert Lewis.) of Boerne, Texas; Grandsons, Ian Hawthorne of Los Angeles, CA and Logan Lewis of Boerne, Texas; and a special friend, Dick McAleenan of Fort Myers.

According to her wishes, her remains will be cremated and her ashes are to be buried at her husband’s gravesite in Morristown, NJ where graveside services will be held on a date to be determined.

Memorials may be made to Hope Hospice of Fort Myers or to the American Cancer Society. Her family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Hope Hospice for their generous and tender care that our loved one received in her final days.
