Beverly Lombardo

Beverly Young Lombardo, born on December 18, 1943, in Point Marion, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, in Fort Myers, Florida. A longtime resident of Lawrence Township, New Jersey, she lived there for 53 years before relocating to Fort Myers in recent years.

Beverly was a proud graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and a devoted parishioner of St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Her professional journey began at American Biltrite, where she met the love of her life, Jimmy Vince. She later worked at EG&G and retired after many years of dedicated service at Bristol Myers Squibb.

A woman of vibrant spirit and deep passion, Beverly loved to dance and was thrilled to have appeared on Dick Clark’s American Bandstand in 1958. She was an avid golfer, a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan, and celebrated with great joy their two Super Bowl victories.

Her adventurous heart led her on travels to Italy twice, including the unforgettable experience of a private audience with Saint John Paul II.

Beverly was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Jimmy Vince; her parents, Carl and Verna Young (née Lisauckes); and her brother, Rudy Young.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her daughter, Sonya (Kevin) Pitts; her grandchildren, Kyle and Carly Pitts, and Kara (Nik) Archer; and her great-grandchildren, Iris and Everett Archer. She is also survived by her beloved siblings, Sheila Sollosi and Randy (Marie) Young; her sisters-in-law, Patricia Young, Mitzi Flanders, and Patricia DeCrosta; and her brothers-in-law, Earl (Eileen) Lombardo, Dominic (Terrie) Lombardo, and Ronald (Kathleen) Lombardo. Beverly held a special place in her heart for her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.

Her greatest joy in life was her family and the friendships she cherished. Beverly embraced every moment with her loved ones and leaves behind a legacy of warmth, strength, and unconditional love.

A private Catholic memorial will be held at St. John XXIII Catholic Church in Fort Myers, Florida.
