March 23, 1979 – September 5, 2016
Christopher Clark Burns was a man whose heart overflowed with love — for his family, his friends, his music, and every living being that crossed his path.
Born to Carol Gaweda and David Clark Burns, Chris shared his life with his beloved brother, David Burns, and his sisters, Heather Burns and Danielle Milian. He was also cherished by his Aunt, Judith Parker, and his step mother, Paulette Burns, along with his three nieces and two nephews, all of whom adored their Uncle Chris.
From an early age, Chris had a gift that was impossible to ignore — a natural musical talent that reached far beyond his years. With an extraordinary ear for sound, he could play nearly any instrument he touched, though the piano was where his soul truly came alive. Music was his language, and through it, he expressed the depth of his emotion, his love, and his generous spirit.
Those who knew Chris remember not only his talent, but his radiant energy. His personality was infectious — a rare blend of warmth, wit, and boundless humor that made everyone around him feel lighter. Chris had an uncanny way of making people feel seen, heard, and loved. He lived with a genuine love for life — for animals, people, and the simple joy of connection with his family.
Chris leaves behind a legacy of laughter, kindness, and music that will continue to echo in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. Chris Burns will be remembered as an amazing son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend — one of a kind, deeply loved, and never forgotten
