Conrado de Jesus Gutierrez Berrio

On September 4, 1966, he married the love of his life, Luz Edilma Zapata. Conrado earned a Master’s degree in engineering and lived a life marked by dedication, faith, and quiet strength. He was a devoted member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Lehigh Acres. In his free time, he found joy in gardening, walking, and reading. Conrado and his wife, Edilma, proudly took their oath to become American citizens together on February 14, 2024.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Luz; his children, Liliana Maria DesJarlais, Cesar Augusto Gutierrez, and Silvia Luz Gutierrez; and his sister, Lucia Gutierrez Berrio.

A memorial Mass will be held at a later date at St. Raphael Catholic Church.

Conrado de Jesus Gutierrez, de 80 años, de Lehigh Acres, Florida, falleció el martes 14 de abril de 2026. Nació el 15 de octubre de 1945 en Bello, Antioquia, Colombia.

El 4 de septiembre de 1966, se casó con el amor de su vida, Luz Edilma Zapata. Conrado obtuvo una maestría en ingeniería y vivió una vida marcada por la dedicación, la fe y una fortaleza tranquila. Fue un miembro devoto de la Iglesia Católica St. Raphael en Lehigh Acres. En su tiempo libre, encontraba alegría en la jardinería, caminar y leer. Conrado y su esposa, Edilma, prestaron con orgullo su juramento para convertirse en ciudadanos estadounidenses juntos el 14 de febrero de 2024.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Luz; sus hijos, Liliana Maria DesJarlais, Cesar Augusto Gutierrez y Silvia Luz Gutierrez; y su hermana, Lucia Gutierrez Berrio.

Se llevará a cabo una misa conmemorativa en una fecha posterior en la Iglesia Católica St. Raphael.
