

Gerald “Jerry” Dennis Crowley 79 of Fort Myers, Florida formerly of Staten Island, New, York died on Monday, April 10, 2023. Jerry served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a New York City Police officer. He served as a Commander for several years in Sloatsburg, N.Y. American Legion before deciding to move the whole family to Florida. He was a dedicated family man. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Theresa (Terri), of 44 years and a loving father to his children. He enjoyed many adventures with his “Brady Bunch” Camping, antique shows and holidays at their home on Fort Myers Beach. Jerry loved antique cars and had many of his own. He was a dedicated patriot and was heavily active with the VFW, American Legion, and The Veterans Club of America #1. Predeceased by his father, George A. Crowley; his mother, Veronica; his son Kenneth and his grandson, Tanner; he is survived by his wife , Theresa (Terry); his children Frank (Debbie) Armstrong, Larry (Lisa) Crowley, Chris Armstrong (Ed), Terri (Junior) Fowler, and Bethanne Crowley Harding; his brothers, Terrence (Janet) Crowley and Robert (Terri Ann) Crowley; his sister Nancy (Raymond) Pandolfini; his 11 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
Military honors will be presented for Jerry on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 3:00 PM at VFW Post 10097, 17770 Pine Ridge Rd, Fort Myers, FL 33908. A reception will follow.
Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Veterans Club of America #1 (the little Club ), VFW Post 10097, VFW or any American Legion of your choice.
