

Gloria A. Berdasco, 93, of Fort Myers, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015. She was born on April 15, 1922 in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Gloria worked as a dietician in Montefiore Hospital, then as a research dietician for the Army in Fort Brooke, Puerto Rico. Later she worked at home supporting her husband Jack and his career in Coca Cola and raising her son Jack Alan.
Gloria is survived by her son, Jack Alan (Nancy Anne), brother-in-law Antonio (Antonia), granddaughter, Jacqueline (Matthew), nephews Louis, Jose Luis, Gaston and nieces Chantal and Monica. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, of 62 years; brothers, Armando, Arturo, Bernardo, Ernesto, Emilio, Luis, Manuel, Oscar; sisters, Adelfa, Estela; brother-in-law Louis; and sister-in-law, Margarita. Gloria’s last years were made pleasant and easy by the devoted love and attention of her beloved adopted daughter Devi Howell.
Gloria was a life-long student of Unity and its spiritual principles. Her spiritual guidance, love and support created a legacy of memories for her beloved family. Her outlook on life was an inspiration to her family as well as touched many other lives. She had a diverse life of challenges and successes and, as a result, she left her mark on this earth. May her soul do the same in the next dimension.
The family invites you to join them in remembering and celebrating Gloria’s life at a service to be held on December 12 at 3 PM at Unity of Fort Myers, 11120 Ranchette Road, Fort Myers, FL 33966.
