Gregory Dean Pownall

Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, Ermal and Jacqueline (Lower) Pownall.

He is survived by his wife, Ejeline Pownall; his son, Cody Pownall; his stepdaughter, Audrey Curada; his brother, Douglas (Judi) Pownall; and his nephews, Michael Pownall and Kevin (Jessiy) Pownall.

Gregory was a loyal member of St. Matthews United Church of Christ. He was also licensed in Real Estate and a certified Master Inspector. In his spare time he was a devoted sports fan, and his favorite teams to support were the Chicago Cubs and the Indianapolis Colts. He also enjoyed running and became a marathon runner.

Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL on Tuesday, April 19th from 5 to 8 pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, April 20th from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am. Entombment will be in Lee Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name would be appreciated to either St. Jude Children’s Hospital or your favorite animal rescue. Info (239) 334-4880
