Henry "Hank" Ramirez

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran who participated in the U2 spy plane operation that was shot down by the Soviet Union in the 1960’s. He was also a Boy Scout Troop leader. He is known for his love of motorcycles, deer hunting, and fixing things. He worked as a Correctional Officer in New York.

Hank is survived by his wife, Irene; children: Adam (Hallie), Dona (Skylar), Eric and daughter-in-law, Barbara-Jean; grandchildren: Jessica (Sam), Rebecca (William), Jonathan, Connor, Christopher and Elania-Louise; sisters: Carmen Nelson and Isabel (Robert) Hickey; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Glenn Ramirez, Sister, Antonia Martinez and brother, John Ramirez.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 21st at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL.
