Janie M. Johnson, 81, of Fort Myers, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015. She was born on May 16, 1934 in Blakely, Georgia. She was a graduate of Fort Myers High School. She retired from JC Penney’s and was a member of Christian Churches for over 55 years.
Janie was preceded in death by her husband, Jack in 2012. She is survived by her children: Richard (Marla), Jerry (Tammy), Ronald (Lynn) and John (Heidi); 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at First Christian Church 2620 Country Club Blvd. Cape Coral, FL on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 11 am. Burial will be private.
