Julio Fuentes

Julio passed away peacefully on July 9th at his home in Fort Myers, FL with his family by his side. Julio was born in New York City, New York to Yolanda and Julio Fuentes, Sr. on October 15, 1956. He moved to FL where he then met his wife, Lynette in 1986. They welcomed their son, Julio in 1997. Julio worked for over 40 years in maintenance. He was not only skilled in his line of work, but he was also a very talented artist. Julio loved creating art, listening to music, playing dominos, fishing, and watching football, especially his beloved Miami Dolphins. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Julio is preceded in death by his father, Julio Sr. and his sister, Sylvia. Julio is survived by his loving wife, Lynette and their son Julio, his mother, Yolanda, his sisters Miriam Martinez (Rey), Maria Fuentes, and Yolanda Nyborg (Victor). Julio is also survived by many other family members who loved him dearly.

A memorial visitation for Julio will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913, followed by a memorial celebration of life from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
