

Lucy M Morgan of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away suddenly at her home on Feb 22, 2022. Her love of the Lord brings us comfort in her passing as we know she is now resting in His arms. Her greatest passion was studying His word along with her devotion to prayer. She will be missed greatly by those that had the good fortune of knowing her. Lucy had a special gift of kindness extended to all she knew and met, even complete strangers. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She truly loved being around people and enjoyed a good party filled with love, life and laughter. Always willing to give of her time and energy, Lucy was well known for her love of food including desserts and sweets, especially her famous fudge that she would prepare often. And, Lucy loved the many dachshunds that she and her husband enjoyed; always with them while at home or away traveling.
Lucy was born in Millinocket, Maine on August 14, 1933 to Dennis A Mascetta and Yolanda (Buccione) Mascetta. She graduated from Stearns High School in 1950 then worked in Bloomfield, IA and Boston, MA before returning home to Millinocket, ME where she met the love of her life, Charles (Chic) Morgan. On New Year's Eve in 1958, Lucy and Chic married and soon after settled in Potomac, MD. While there, Lucy worked as a fashion model and was featured in Look Magazine. Life once again brought them back to Maine then finally settling in Lehigh Acres, FL. Lucy enjoyed a long career in real estate in both Maine and Florida.
Lucy is survived by her loving twin daughters Judi O'Halloran and husband, Tim, and Jane Wiseman and husband, Cash, both residing in Maine and her sister, Barbara Mascetta and wife, Su Carey, residing in Lehigh Acres, FL. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, five great grandsons and many nieces and nephews with whom she enjoyed very close and special relationships with, right up until her passing.
A celebration of Lucy's life will be held in Lehigh Acres, FL on Saturday March 12th at her home from 2 to 5 pm. A funeral and burial ceremony will be held in Millinocket, ME this summer with details to follow.
