Maria Adame, age 76, of Immokalee, Florida passed away on April 14, 2026. She was born on October 28, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas. She had a career in youth services and was a director of a nonprofit organization. She was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church and had a passion for God, her faith, her family, traveling, crafts, gardening, and her dog Luna.
She is survived by her significant other Pedro Narezo; her children: Issac (Lisa) Silvas, Cynthia Henson, Nancy Silvas, and David Silvas. Her siblings include Martha (Raymond) Garcia, Teresa Avalos, Angie Benton and Irene Lucio (Ruben), Domingo Adame Jr. (Petra), Armando Adame (Velma), Gilbert Adame and Rene Adame (Zita). Her grandchildren include Roger (Gabby) Nunez, Joshua Whidden, Adrian (Lauren) Nunez, Kaleb Silvas, Courtney Henson, Brittany Henson, Andrea (Dan) Svonavec, Celestina Patino, David Lee Silvas, Tiffany Henson, and Damian Silvas. And her fifteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Belen and Domingo Adame.
Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park 12777 State Road 82 in Fort Myers on Saturday April 18, 2026 from 4:30 to 7:00 pm with a funeral service at 5:00 pm.
