I just found out about your loss.  I'm sorry to hear.  I only knew Mike for a short time but it was a sweet time.  Not only was he a smart man he was very kind as well.  If there is anything I can do please let me know.

I met Mike at the hospital and I had the privilege of helping with his care the last year. I always enjoyed our little talks because I am from Illinois also and Mike had such a kind spirit. Dear Sande and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Mike. He always extended a warm welcome to everyone in our family and he will be dearly missed, We are thinking of all of you. God Bless.

Michael Ellis was not perfect, but a heck of a lot closer than most of us. I hope we all learn to be such good people as he was. In life and death he will find the love of his family and his many friends. When I was with him days before he died, we asked him what he wanted to say to everybody and he said the words of a true man, "I love em all." We love you Papa, you will be in our hearts forever.

We want to express our sorrow upon hearing of Mike's passing.  Our condolences to his wife, Sande and family as well as his brother David and his wife, Sandi and the extended family.  Mike was a valued member of the CHS class of '61 as well as a Plaza Park class of '57.  I've always remembered the kindness of the brothers and their family in inviting our grade school class to their home to watch one of our classmates to participate on a television game show.  I dont' remember if Jeff's family won anything that day, but we all enjoyed being out of school.  Knowing of his good natured attitude, I'm sure Mike leaves a wealth of fond memories to all who knew him.

The world has lost a good man, loving father, and friend. I was lucky to work for Mike and family for several yrs. I learned so much from him. He had a big wonderful smile daily, loved joking around and loved his family dearly. Prayers to you all sorry to hear of your lose.

Although I did not know Mike all that well, I knew him well enough to know he was one of the "good guys."  We classmates at CHS 1961 are  a special group who share much in core values, and we just lost some of that important sharing. My heart and prayers go out to each and every one of you. Enjoy always his time with you and look forward to the day when you are together again.
