With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Nancy E. Coffey, age 75, who went peacefully Saturday, June 7, 2025 in the care of Hope Hospice surrounded by loving family and friends. She is reunited in Heaven with her two favorite people, husband Kenneth Ray Coffey Sr. (passed 2004), and mother Ruth Droz (passed 2007).
Nancy was employed with the Lee County Sheriff's Department for 22 years. She is missed by her large family of deputies and staff members who worked alongside her for many years.
Nancy was a bright shining star who loved dogs, arts and crafts, baking brownies for people, game nights, Elvis Presley impersonators and karaoke.
Nancy's journey was made easier by the wonderful people at Hope Hospice and the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hope Hospice, Morristown-Hamblen Humane Society in Morristown, TN, the American Cancer Society or Tunnels to Towers Foundation in Nancy's memory.
There will be a "MOM-orial" celebration of life at her home at her home on Friday, July 11th from 5 pm until 9 pm and Saturday July 12th from 2 pm until 8 pm.
