He worked as a science teacher in Clarksburg, Massachusetts for 40 years. He loved his students like they were his own. He loved talking to people, telling jokes and making friends.
Richard is survived his loving wife, Elvira Hofmann; sisters: Natalie Cain, Ann E. Cain and Marge Tisdale; brother, Chris Cain; several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Marjorie Cain, and his brothers, Neil Cain and Joseph Cain.
